  • Make sure that you read each of your students' IEPs and that you are especially familiar with their goals and objectives. Every month you will be asked to mark each of your students' IEP goals for mastery. IEP goals should be printed and sent home with report cards. You should be familiar with everything about your students' IEPs.
  • You will be expected to use the electronic IEP system to write your IEPs - this program is called TIENETS and can be found on ACORN.
  • Keep your students' records in a locked file cabinet. Let Shirley Edwards know if you need a file cabinet key made.
  • The permanent record files are located in the large file cabinet immediately to the right when you enter the front office. Become familiar with the checklist of documents that lists all the documents that should be in the permanent record file. Lead teachers are responsible for making sure that the permanent record file is kept up to date with all appropriate documents.
