VIRTUAL PROGRESS PROTOCOL - Once Requirements are Met.
1 A STUDENT WHO IS INTERESTED IN EARNING PROGRESS LEVEL SHOULD ASK HIS/HER TEACHER FOR A RECOMMENDATION FORM. THE TEACHER SHOULD EMAIL MR. B AND MS. CAMPBELL WITH THE NAME OF THE STUDENT AND THE FORM WILL BE SHARED AS A GOOGLE DOC WITH ALL THE STUDENT'S TEACHERS AND THEIR PROGRAM MANAGER.
2. STUDENT WILL PERSONALLY REQUEST TEACHER APPROVAL FROM EACH OF THEIR TEACHERS IN THEIR VIRTUAL CLASSES and TEACHERS WILL THEN ADD THEIR NAMES IN THE BLANKS ON THE GOOGLE FORM.
3. TEACHERS WILL SHARE THE STUDENT ACCOUNT BOOK FOR REVIEW TO MR. B. AND MS. CAMPBELL. THIS CAN BE BY EMAILING IT OR SHARING ACCESS TO IT IF IT IS A GOOGLE DOC. THE PROGRESS COMMITTEE WILL REVIEW THE ACCOUNT BOOK, OBTAIN PROGRAM MANAGER APPROVAL, AND DETERMINE ELIGIBILTY.
4. THE TEACHER WILL BE EMAILED WITH A REQUEST FOR POSSIBLE INTERVIEW DATES FOR THE STUDENT.
5. THE ELIGIBLE STUDENT WILL BE ADDED TO THE PROGRESS STUDENTS COURSE ON ITSLEARNING WHERE HE/SHE WILL FIND A LINK TO THEIR INTERVIEW.
6. THE TEACHER WILL BE EMAILED WITH THE INTERVIEW DATE AND DIAGRAM OF WHERE THE VIDEO CONFERENCING LINK IS LOCATED.
7. TEACHERS SHOULD HELP PREPARE THE STUDENT FOR THE INTERVIEW BY REVIEW THE INFORMATION ON THE FORM AND BY MAKING SURE THAT THEY KNOW HOW AND WHEN TO GET TO THE INTERVIEW.
8. THE PROGRESS TEAM WILL INTERVIEW THE STUDENT. THE ANSWERS TO MOST OF THE QUESTIONS THAT THE TEAM WILL ASK ARE ON THE SECOND PAGE OF THE PROGRESS RECOMMENDATION FORM.
9. THE PBIS COMMITTEE WILL SEND OUT AN ALLSTAFF EMAIL ANNOUNCEMENT AND THE STUDENT WILL NOW BE OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED AS A PROGRESS STUDENT.
10. THE STUDENT'S NAME WILL BE ADDED TO THE PROGRESS STUDENT LIST ON THE WEBSITE.
11. THE STUDENT WILL RECEIVE A PROGRESS CERTFICATE.
