Time Clock
The time clock is located in the front office on the wall by Mrs. Robert's office. Punch in the number on the front of your ID and press enter. Watch to make sure your time was clocked.
It is imperative that you clock in on time. Missed time must be made up.
If you forget to clock in (or out) it is called a "missed punch" and you will need to see Mrs. White and let her know as soon as you can.
Leave and Absences
If you have to stay out a day due to illness or emergency you need to call your Program Manager and your teammate and let them know immediately. Coverage for your class will be handled in-house. As a Lead teacher you should always have sub plans available (short and long term) and your Support teacher should be ready to step in and lead the day's activities.
3 consecutive days out require a doctor's note and 5 days requires FMLA paperwork.
You need to fill in a leave form as soon as you get back to work. Fill it out completely with the proper leave code and put it in the basket on the counter in front of Mrs. White and keep a copy for yourself.
You accrue 10 hours of sick time per month. So if you are starting out with none and you miss two days your first month, your check will be smaller.
PERSONAL LEAVE
You are allowed 3 PERSONAL days per school year. Personal days require prior approval. Request approval from your Program Manager. As with any absence, make sure your teammate is aware. Do not schedule personal days to be attached to already scheduled staff holidays.
Be sure to fill out the EXCUSE FORM for PERSONAL DAYS at least 3 days ahead of your planned absence.
PROFESSIONAL LEAVE
Professional leave is used when you are asked to attend a workshop or training on a work day. You will need to fill out a Leave Form for professional leave also! This also needs to be done three days in advance. If you would like to attend a training that you heard about, ask your Program Manager before registering.
